China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association Tin Industry Branch: It is expected that the global tin supply will still be in short supply next year

According to news on December 7, Wang Zhongkui, vice president of the Tin Industry Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, predicted at the 2023 Fubao Information Nonferrous Metals Industry Annual Conference on December 7 that global tin supply and consumption will grow in 2024. Global tin supply has expanded, but overall there is still a shortage. Wang Zhongkui analyzed that it is expected that by 2024, overseas tin projects planned to be put into production will be highly delayed and the main increment will be limited. It is estimated that the actual new domestic tin ore volume is 7,000 tons, and the contribution is still not high. Indonesia’s tin ingot exports are expected to decline slowly in the future.
