Properties: white powder or hexagonal crystals. Odorless, tasteless, and non-sandy.

Solubility: soluble in acid, concentrated alkali hydroxide, ammonia and ammonium salt solution, insoluble in water and ethanol.

Stability: It turns yellow when heated, and turns white again after cooling, and sublimates when heated to 1800°C.

【The main purpose of zinc oxide】

1. Used in rubber products, tires, and cable industries as a reinforcing agent and activator, so that the rubber has good corrosion resistance, tear resistance and elasticity. Used as a colorant and filler in white rubber products, and as a vulcanizing agent in neoprene;

2. Used in ceramic products as the main raw material of ceramic color oil;

3. Desulfurizer for deep desulfurization and purification of synthetic ammonia, methanol, petroleum, and natural gas;

4. Used in feed processing as a nutritional supplement for zinc; zinc oxide is used in pharmacy to make zinc oxide ointment, zinc paste, or zinc oxide adhesive plaster and other astringent agents;

5. Substrate for analysis reagents, reference reagents, fluorescent agents and photosensitive materials;

6. Used for electrostatic wet copying, dry transfer printing, laser fax communication, electrostatic recording of electronic computers, and electrostatic plate making;

7. Used in plastic products as a light stabilizer for polyolefin or polyvinyl chloride;
